The Nuvo Dood 2.0 is a great way to introduce single reed skills at an early age or for any beginner to music. It has a mellow clarinet-like sound and makes a great addition to any recorder ensemble. Fingering is similar to recorder and the Dood also features the patented silicone keys which help kids to cover the holes easily. This helps them to focus on developing a good embouchure. The Dood 2.0 is fully chromatic over one octave. The Nuvo Dood uses an Eb clarinet reed and is 100% waterproof and washable.
