Using a classic all-valve design with contemporary features including a Celestion Eight-15 8” speaker this amp is unmistakeably Marshall.

The rich and harmonic tone means that the Origin5 is suited to those looking to express themselves through their sound.

A 2-way footswitch allows you to control the gain boost and turn the FX loop on and off. Ideal for the bedroom player, this single channel unit offers a diverse tone range from a clean, subtle tone to a bright, more cutting tone.

The Origin5C has some great options to help you build a fantastic sound. Using the footswitchable gain boost feature you can add that extra level of gain to generate a real Marshall tone and the tilt control allows you to blend your sound between normal and high treble voices - all the to the left is warm and full whilst all the way to the right is brighter and more cutting.

Marshall's new power reducing technology, PowerstemTM, allows you to have high or low power modes without affecting the sound quality. PowerstemTM works by reducing the voltage rails around the power amplifier rather than using our traditional pentode/triode reduction methods. This offers power reduction s without changing the sonic character and so provides optimum tone and performance regardless of the volume level required by guitarists. Meaning you can play at lower volumes, while still maintaining the sought after characteristics of playing a valve amplifier at higher outputs. Couple this with use of the 'presence' control, which increases the high frequency content and you have the ability to create great tones and any volume level.
