The LeBlanc 7168 Bass Clarinet is great for school ensembles as it has the low Eb key mounted on the body instead of the bell.

This key placement provides durability and lessens key-maintenance problems. It is made from an ABS composite material with a wood grain finish and has nickel plated keys, bell and neck. It features a single register key, and produces an even-blowing scale throughout its range with dark, rich sounds that blend well with any ensemble.

It's a high quality bass clarinet with low maintaince and durable than any other bass clarinet.
